Large diameter flanged suction hoses are heavy-duty flexible hoses characterized by their customized large inner diameter and integrated flange connections at both ends. Engineered for high-flow fluid handling, they are widely utilized in industrial, construction, agricultural, and marine sectors for the efficient suction and discharge of liquids, slurries, and semi-solid mixtures.
Constructed with a multi-layer composite structure to withstand harsh working environments:
● Inner Liner: Made of nitrile rubber (NBR) for oil resistance, EPDM for chemical resistance, or PVC for cost-effective general use; the inner surface is smooth to reduce fluid friction and prevent sediment buildup.
● Reinforcement Layers: Polyester cord fabric with high-tensile helix steel wire provide radial rigidity, preventing hose collapse under negative pressure (vacuum resistance up to -0.9 bar) and enhancing burst pressure resistance.
● Outer Cover: Wear-resistant, NR, CR and normally with PVC wrapped to protect against abrasion, weathering, and chemical corrosion during outdoor or construction site use.

1. Dredging and Port Engineering
